Remove mannered prose
For when the writing reads as heavy or performative.
Please remove all mannered prose. Mannered prose substitutes metaphor and flourish for direct statement — "a dial worth turning" instead of "a parameter worth varying." It exists to display the writer, not to convey the idea. Say what you mean. When a literal phrase is available, use it.
Put this in your first message of a session rather than the system prompt. Style instructions placed there hold better on Fable 5.1.
